🔧 Model/Function Builder

This panel is used to select a Pyxel model or function and to view or edit the resulting YAML configuration. The YAML shown here always reflects the current state of your setup and can be customized manually if needed.

Copies a ready-to-run Pyxel config. The builder now emits real Pyxel directly — top-level exposure: / observation: / calibration:, the detector block, and the grouped pipeline — so Copy hands back what you see. Pasted or older configs are tidied on the way out.

📙 Tutorial

This panel provides read-only tutorials and reference material to help you understand Pyxel concepts, configuration patterns, and best practices. Tutorials do not modify your configuration or YAML.

🛰️ Advanced Configuration

This panel controls how your simulation is configured and explored, not how Pyxel’s detectors work internally. Here you can select an interaction workflow, choose a detector model, customize parameters, and build the simulation pipeline. All changes made here are automatically merged into a single, up-to-date YAML configuration shown in the Build panel.

Running Mode

Select how you want to explore or run your configuration. Running modes describe the interaction workflow (single run, parameter sweep, or interactive exploration) and do not change how detectors behave internally.

Pipeline Presets

Pipeline presets provide predefined processing chains as starting points. Selecting a preset updates the pipeline automatically and can be customized further in the pipeline builder.

Pipeline Builder

Build and customize the processing pipeline by adding, removing, or reordering models. Changes here directly affect the generated YAML configuration.

    Detector Type

    Select the detector model to simulate. The chosen detector defines available parameters, noise models, readout behavior, and validation rules according to Pyxel’s schemas.

    🔒 Privacy & Telemetry

    Sharing is off by default. The Lab sends nothing unless you turn it on below.

    If you do turn it on, the Lab shares only two things: which validation rules your configuration triggers and where in the structure they happen. This helps find confusing error messages and make them better.

    It never sends the contents of your configuration, the values you type, or anything that could identify you. There are no accounts and no advertising trackers. You can turn sharing off again at any time, right here.
